In this meeting we participated in ShimmerStoneTM training with designers, architects, and painters from the Portland, OR area.

This stuff is awesome. You mix the color yourself and apply to walls and ceilings with a trowel, one color at a time. At least two colors are recommended to get the desired effect. ShimmerStoneTM contains micro glass beads which come to the surface after about 4 hours of drying time. This is what gives it that trademark "shimmer". After 48 hrs of drying time, this product can be cleaned with 409® and a nylon scouring pad.
Shannon Russell & Jerry Peluso prepare for the class to begin.
Diana Sartor, of Modern Masters Inc, & Dick Wallace, of MPI Marketing Group LLC, conducted the session. Diana came up from Hollywood and gave a great presentation.
Jerry Peluso, of Let's Hang It Up, mixes color and applies ShimmerStoneTM to his canvas.
Shannon Russell intrepidly begins to work his magic.
Jerry Peluso & Thomas Barry, of Quick & Clean Wallpaper Removal Inc, consult with Diana on the finer aspects of application.
Jan Barney, Rodda Contract Wallcovering, gets creative with her second masterpiece of the evening.
Here's an alternate view.
Jan was very successful with her two works of art. Check out this shimmering abalone like sample board.
Shannon Russell, Gordon Kramm & Dona White displaying ShimmerStoneTM.
Peter Newell, Peter's Painting & Paperhanging, displaying his sample board and photographic evidence that he really is Portland's only "one armed paperhanger" - temporarily thank God almighty.
This outside the box creation could only belong to Chuck Ricks, C.P.
